The ideal candidate for the Digital Marketing Specialist position must possess a keen understanding of paid search, ideally with an understanding of the Hudson Valley Regional Market as well as an understanding of small-to-mid sized businesses. This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level, touching all aspects of the search marketing roadmap including keyword management, creation of campaign messaging, bidding strategies, creative testing, and reporting.
-Develop and continually expand keyword lists, adword setup, demographic targeting
-Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
-Coordinate conversion rate optimization
-Provide regular, detailed performance reporting
-Constantly think of new, innovative ways to drive qualified traffic to our websites
-Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget and estimating monthly costs
-Independent worker with minimal guidance to keep on task and complete multiple tasks at hand
-Strong initiative to be able to identify and act on opportunities
-At least two years of proven PPC experience
-Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
-Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in PPC
-Be able to send weekly updates to Director of Sales
